What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content,

just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of"

nested selector

system.

This is a beautiful passage from Gretchen Rubin's new book, Secrets of Adulthood...

Source: Secrets of Adulthood, p. 25

My entire life changed when I realized one truth:

You have to sacrifice short-term freedom in order to earn long-term freedom.

The things that make you feel happy in the present are often at odds with the things that make you feel happy in the future.

Acting on short-term freedom—choosing to do the things that create instant happiness—may actually harm your ability to build long-term freedom.

Instant gratification is good for the days, but bad for the years. It may make your today, but it will ruin your tomorrow.

Sacrifice is the cost of entry. Hard now, easy later.

Delayed gratification is the key to building the life you want.

Note: Secrets of Adulthood is filled with short ideas that stick with you long after you read them. This book is not to be consumed quickly. I recommend reading a few pages and then allowing the ideas to mingle on a walk or journaling session.
